About Julia Holland
Julia graduated with a BA Hons in Fine Art in 1984. After leaving college Julia left the art behind, choosing a career of almost 20 years in marketing. Photography became her new creative outlet with part-time commissions, followed by a full-time self-employed career in photography in 2008. As well as offering event, wedding, corporate and portrait photography, she finds time to pursue personal projects to focus on the Fine Art side of her photographic work. She is based just north of Norwich, but regularly travels for commissions and national events. She is an Associate member of the Master Photographers Association.

That is a well deserved award for her, she has taken some very pretty photographs and the winning photo just captures the essence of beauty in its own right. This was a great interview thank you for letting us know about Julia and what she has accomplished. I am very excited for her thank you for taking the time to post this- great job!

I have been building my glamour photography portfolio for years. And I never heard of the SWPP Glamour and Beauty photographer of the year award. It sounds prestigious though. And it was interesting to hear that she felt a bit nervous in what I guess was her first interview. But it is surprising to hear a production pro who you would think is used to bright lights and cameras on the set. But the tables turn when you are the subject.
